We loved the private location & proximity to the beach.  Kids just enjoyed playing on the beach & riding the waves.  Water was warm & clean.  For our family of six there were not enough towels available & I had wished I had brought my own.   It was a small space for our large family but we did spend most of our time outdoors.  We love to eat @ Johnny Rockets that is always fun.  Couldn't get in to Dino's it was always too long a wait.  Rented a jet ski boat @ water sports which we loved.  Overall we felt that you were very pleasant & easy to work w/ & the process of renting the condo went very smoothly.

Questions:

1.  location, location, location, it was just an awesome place to be with the inlet- we spent so many happy times playing there while the other half of the family sunned themselves or rode the waves.  We loved being the last building on a dead end road.

2.  include the fact that you cannot leave anything outside your front door at the condo.  also, we never were able to find out if we could use the waterpark and where it was, some of the sands staff said only the hotel people could use it and that it was at another site a couple miles away. that was disappointing.  you had us prepared very well for the rules and we really liked having the keyless entry, any of us could come and go without worrying about being locked out (might want to put that in as a plus you have over other condos).

3.  we left a small fishing net for other to use, would suggest you may get a better one and also a new and improved umbrella and maybe one of those fishing nets you toss, they really looked fun.  I know you can't make the patio larger, but maybe a small table so that you could sit out there with a snack or drink.  we really appreciated the coupon booklets- found many of them around the city, i think it would be nice to have someone reorganize your wonderful folders- they are a bit messed up, we tried a little, but ran out of time- the beach was just too tempting. 

3.  enjoyed the "Thai Season" restaurant- we love thai food- it is new and very good (my husband is  thai and we cook it all the time, that was just about one of the best thai restaurants we've ever eaten at in the USA).  It is on King's  Highway going north on the left side of the road at the end of a mini strip mall beside one of those beach stores- right before a grove of trees.  we did not like Mt. Atlanticus, but did enjoy "mayday" mini golf course.  loved the Dixie stampede and the combo ripley's pass to the aquarium, museum and haunted house.  Also, really enjoyed shopping at Gay Dolphin in Myrtle Beach and the Nautical store out near Calabash.  Did not enjoy the "sea screamer" it was very rough and overcrowded and boring.  oh, that little subshop on your street a block or so down at the strawmarket was really good.  We didn't care for the "farmer's daughter" buffet or the "giant crab" buffet too much.  oh, you migh also suggest a few groceries in the area.

Thanks for caring so much about our stay- it was a wonderful location and very comfortable,  we played tennis every morning.  we had such fun, you are great hosts.  .

We had a fantastic time on vacation. We absolutely fell in love with Myrtle Beach.  We liked driving around and seeing the sites, instead of going to Hardrock Park, we took the kids to Family Kingdom, and went to the water park for 4 1/2 hours and went to the amusement park across the street for 3 hours. We had a good time at both of them.   We collected a bunch of shells and my husband found a large shark's tooth on the beach one morning.  It is a vacation we will remember for a long time, and we hope to be able to visit there again.  Thanks so much.  The Colbert's

 Is there anything you wish you had been in the information? Everything was great, I also did mapquest for exact directions all the way.

We ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise, (it was recommended by a friend-it was good) We just really enjoyed being so close to the beach for a week.

WE LIKED THAT THERE WAS VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC ON THE DEAD END STREET. THE VIEW WAS GREAT. NOT CROWDED AT ALL ON THE BEACH

NO EVERYTHING WAS AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE AND YOUR EMAILS

3.  Do you have any suggestions for improvement?

THE ONLY THING I THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW IS THAT WE HAD A BAD STORM 1 NIGHT AND THE WIND WAS BLOWING IN FROM THE BALCONY VERY HARD AND YOU HAVE A WATER LEAK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SLIDING DOOR. WE STOPPED IT WITH TOWELS, NO BIG PROBLEM FOR US BUT IT COULD CAUSE YOU DAMAGE IF THE UNIT IS VACANT DURING A STORM.

4.  Did you eat at any restaurants or participate in any activity that you loved enough for us to include it in our "recommended" list?

BAREFOOT LANDING IS NICE WITH THE CRAB HOUSE AND FIRE ISLAND
BROADWAY AT THE BEACH IS ALSO EXCELLENT WITH PLENTY TO DO. YOUR BINDERS WITH INFO IN THEM ARE VERY HELPFUL THAT WAS A GREAT IDEA.

WE JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND WILL BE COMING BACK. YOU HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. THE PLACE IS GREAT. I received my security deposit back from you and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for everything.  Myrtle Beach was wonderful we loved every aspect of it and the condo was beautiful.  The location was perfect and it really helped make our stay as great as it was and we have told many people about it so you might hear back from me soon.

Shirley, feedback on your condo:

1. The location was great….nice and quiet and close to the beach. It wasn’t close to our usual golf courses, but for getting out of town (to Wilmington) it was!
2. Since our golf courses were south (Litchfield, Pawleys Island areas) we did most of our eating there. A great place was called Hot Fish in Murrells Inlet. Great food and music.

 Thanks for helping us have a great time by letting us use your place. We really had fun!

Here is my review:

1.  The view from the condo was awesome.  The area is not that crowded
and it is close to Ocean Annies.
2.  No suggestions for improvements.
3. Ate at Bimini's.  The fried shrimp is to die for!  The band at Ocean
Annies was great!!

Thank you so much for letting us rent your condo. The place was
beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. I hope that
everything was in order. Thanks again and will definitely keep you in

Dear Shirley, 

Again we have enjoyed our stay at your condo.  Since we have come back four times you know that we enjoy it very much!  The location is so perfect with the privacy and yet so near to things we want to do and see. 

You have done a great job of improving the condo.  Each time we go we find something new.  The new tile on the floor and the new couch make it very lovely as well as the new refrigerator.  You outdo yourself to make sure that everything is lovely for your guests. 

One of the things I enjoy most is the abundance of birds on the beach and the marsh.  I love to feed bread to them and have them flock around us to get it.  

There were four of us this time and plenty of room for us all.  We enjoyed watching DVD's in the evening.   

We surely recommend this to anyone wanting a delightful spot on Myrtle Beach.

We have just returned home from a week in your lovely condo. We spent a great week there with my husband's brother and his wife and had plenty of room. This was our third visit and I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. I very much enjoyed looking for shells along the beach and brought back quite a collection.

It was most enjoyable to spend time where the beaches are not overly crowded. The view from your balcony of the ocean and inlet also gave me the opportunity of witnessing spectacular sunsets. I'm afraid I was not up early enough to see the sunrises though.

The renovations you have done since our stay in September 2007 are really nice. I especially liked the colors you have chosen for the couch and tiles. The time and effort you have put into making your place seem so welcome are a delight. I would highly recommend your condo to anyone. You have gone to such lengths to supply all the thoughtful  extras to make their visit one to remember.

We wish to thank Ron and Shirley for a wonderful week with the use of their condo.  The views from the balcony are spectacular.  The unit was  very clean and had so many little touches to welcome the guests.  I especially liked the fragrant soap she left for us and the soft towels.  Rather a unique touch in my experiences.  Their friendly and professional service was welcomed and appreciated.  We look forward to our next stay in Myrtle Beach in Ron's and Shirley's cozy vacation condo.  Thanks.

                           

Hi, Shirley. 

We had a great time.  Your condo was the perfect place for our two little ones.  They weren't sure of the waves and preferred the calm water of the inlet.  We spent most of the time at the inlet and in the swimming pools. The evening before we left, we finally got them to get in to the ocean and they loved it. 

 

The weather was absolutely perfect.  Even though it was in the high 90's on the beach and at the pool you couldn't tell.  And, the location of the condo was convenient to Barefoot Landing and Broadway on the Beach.  It's been a few years since we were last in Myrtle Beach and we couldn't believe how much has been added to the area.  It's definitely a place with something for everyone.  The kids loved the aquarium.  We would have enjoyed some of the other attractions but we ran out of time to see and do everything.  

 

We rushed out on Saturday morning and forget we had left a few items in the fridge and freezer - strawberry jelly, a few drinks and popsicles.  Sorry about that. 

 

I'll keep your information on file for our next trip to the beach.
